“All in all, they offer a whopping 22 models each for men and women, with a lot of crossover between them, and you can customize quite a bit…so the actual tally is a bit ambiguous. And irrelevant. Just assume they have something to fit your needs.”

Ride Studio Cafe hosted the Honey Bikes Launch Party on Saturday night. They held it all together for well over 80 people throughout the evening. Lots of food, bikes, and friends.

Rode the first of the new New England Randonneurs Populaire series today. A monthly ride developed by Jake Kassen and hosted by Ride Studio Cafe. Pamela Blaylock‘s Permanent route was awesome – even with all the snow, ice, and water.
Video image while rolling at a good clip on icy sand. I was so happy riding through this kind of terrain – it was pretty much the only way I could keep up! Trying to find a fender to follow was a bit challenging at times; that’s what you get for being the slow one!
I can’t wait for the next Populaire on March 2!

Wow! Honey Bikes‘ 2014 bike launch was out of control. The bikes turned out fantastic, the Ride Studio Cafe was packed, and people seemed to have a fun time. It’s going to take a full year to recover from the event.
Eleven new Honeys on display – and that will be posted on Honey’s site in the coming weeks. For the moment, here are a few images that represent the party.

Today Honey Bikes had a visit from Anthony and Heidi – creators of the Dirty 40 and Rasputitsa races.
Honey is working with Heidi and Anthony on a special project called Hammer and Cycle that I’ll share more about soon.
It was great to meet the geniuses behind two of the coolest and cutting edge events on the east coast. We’re looking forward to doing more with them this season. Stay tuned.
