Bottom Bracket A6 Seven CyclesTuesday location:  Seven  |  8:05 am – 8:35 pm

  • Product Development:  Working on Seven Cycles’ bottom bracket system.  Seven currently offers five types of bottom bracket.  We’re looking at adding a sixth type.  In order to do that we’re reorganizing the entire bb  management system.
  • Words:  Ride Studio Cafe just posted an interview with Erin Faconne about her new Honey Final 200 Meters race bike.
  • Event:  Some folks from Seven Cycles and I are heading Signature Cycles in Connecticut for their Meet the Makers day.  They did this a few years ago and it was a great ride and event.
  • Product Design:  The Seven Cycles Track Jackets arrived today.  I think they’re already sold out.  Limited Edition.  Too limited.

  • Sponsorship:  Mary McConneloug and Mike Broderick raced the Pan American Continental Championships.  And, of course Mary won!  They emailed up and Mary said:

“This is Seven Cycles 4th Pan Am Title in the past 9 years!!! (and 9th podium finish between the 2 of us!)  […]

“My IMX 29er was incredible once again… and especially fast as she lost a bit of weight (over a pound) when we installed SRAMs XX1 components…  It was surely a team effort!  THANK YOU all at Seven Cycles for your commitment to building the best bikes on the market!  We are honored to represent!”

“All is going good on our end!  The latest travels and dedicated preparation for the Pan Ams was were challenging for sure but all really worth while.  It was amazing to share another Pan Am victory with Mary and you all at Seven as well.  This is Mary’s fourth pan am title and it feels like the best ever. She had great ride but she really shone most as an ambassador of our sport and country, she was an amazing.”
