  • Ride Event:  High Point Ride.  Had a great meeting – and dinner – discussing a 2013 ride project with Pamela and John.  It’s a ride I started developing in February of 2012 but I’ve been putting off because the logistics are too intense.  2013 will be the year.  Details coming soon.
  • Ad schedule:  Worked on Seven Cycles’ advertising schedule for 2013.  In order to do this I was reviewing some of the the work we’ve done over the past 10-years.  It’s interesting how much the media landscape has changed over that time:  print vs. online; magazines that have come and gone; blogs.  Impressions vs. circulation.  Metrics vs. bros.
  • I know I’m working too many hours when I’m certain that, “that’ve” is a word.  What?  Time to go home.
  • Note:  I want to be a rouleur.

Post title:  “Writing has nothing to do with meaning.  It has to do with land surveying and cartography, including the mapping of countries yet to come.”  – Gilles Deleuze
