Ride Project #5 for 2012
The first big ride project of the season for me. A training ride for my good friends at Rialto restaurant and TRADE restaurant.
The Plan: a metric century with a few good climbs for training. Heading out and returning to the Ride Studio Cafe
The Route: Heading to the MIT Haystack Observatory. Very cool. Most people haven’t been out there; it’s worth the ride.
The Coolness: Having the Ride Studio Cafe Sul Posto Cafe at the top of the Observatory climb. And having two other food stops along the way at Keyks Bakery.
The Result: We expected about 50 riders – maybe less because the weather was threatening. We have more than 90 riders! A great success and we got tons of great feedback.
The pre-ride blog post I put together.
The post-ride blog post by Patria Lanfranchi.
