Riding To the End of the World

December 20, 2012

in Rides, Semiotics of a Ride

Since today is the last day, ever, it seemed appropriate to ride to World’s End.  Thanks to Pamela Blalock for putting on the ride and reminding me that I don’t have to work tomorrow.

Here are my last images.  Some odd photos from the ride for an odd final day.

It all starts with proper drinking tools. In this case, John Bayley’s espresso tamper. Complete with bicycle cog engraving.

And it all ends here.

Back to drink prep:

Espresso shot at a private cafe. Twenty-eight seconds can go very slowly sometimes.

Now I can begin thinking about riding my bike.

Convicts of the road, rain, food, PRO – what more could you want?

On Point to World’s End, heading North?

Yeah; thanks for the reminder. Fortunately it won’t matter much longer.

By the end of the ride I was discarded like old vampire teeth.
