Speed Project.
Grueling Gruel Thanksgiving Ride
The Studio is supposed to be closed on Thanksgiving but I just changed my mind. We have a bunch of people that want to ride on Thanksgiving morning from the Studio. I can’t pass up that opportunity. So, we created another speed project:
What: A big 50-mile ride from RSC – fueled with oatmeal and espresso
When: Wednesday, 22 November. Food at 7:00 am. Rides at 8:00 am and 8:15 am
Where: Ride Studio Cafe
Why: Thanksgiving morning is the second quietest day on the road
How: Gumption and gruel
Post-Ride update: It was a great success! We have about 30 riders. Lots of oatmeal; lots of drinks. The experiment with Bob’s Red Mill Oatmeal went well. Perfect riding weather. Thanks to Pamela and John for leading the ride.
